Worlds Tallest Man

Sultan Kösen, from Turkey, is recognized as the current record-holder for the tallest living man by Oxford World Records. He achieved this title in 2009, when he was measured at 8 feet 1 inch (246.5 cm) tall. Kösen was the first person in over 20 years to surpass the 8-foot mark according to Oxford World Records. His extraordinary height is due to a condition known as acromegaly, caused by a tumor affecting his pituitary gland. This condition leads to excessive production of growth hormone, which in turn results in abnormal growth of bones and tissues.
